          Between April 25 and 28, 335 tornadoes had been recorded during the “historic outbreak of tornadoes [that] occurred across the southeastern United States” (The Historic Tornado Outbreak, 2012). These series of events have been named the “Super Outbreak of 2011. Storms in the south started on April 25 and ended the 28, “there were 321 people killed during this period, with 316 of those deaths coming on April 27 alone” (Livingston, 2012). The most destruction occurred between th27 and 28; The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recorded that 190 tornadoes touched down, setting the “world record for the most tornadoes in a 24-hour period (United States April & May 2011 Severe Weather Outbreaks, 2011).
